Alvar Rubio Comino  - Piano

He is born in Saragossa  where realizes brilliantly his studies of piano with  Pilar Armijo Castro  and Ignacio Marín Bocanegra in the Conservatoria of his natal city being  rewarded with  three Extraordinary Prizes and an Honorific Mention.


He continues his studies in  L'Ecole Normale de Musique of Paris in the class of the eminent pianist Ramzi Yassa and in 1996 he is admitted into the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels into Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden’s class , pupil of the great spanish teacher  Eduardo del Pueyo, entering in touch with the pedagogy of this brilliant Aragonese pianist ,heir of Marie Jaëll’s researches.


He holds the Premier Prix Solfege, Premier Prix Chamber music, Premier Prix Piano, Premier Prix Music History and Diplôme Superieur of Piano. Likewise, he studies in the Musical Center Eduardo del Pueyo with his Teacher Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden.


He has been a scholarship holder for the State Department, the Government of Aragon, Ibercaja, the University of Almeria, International Courses Manuel of Falla  and the government of the French-speaking Community of Belgium.


Returning  to Spain he realizes a Postdegree in the Conservatoire of the Liceo Barcelona under Stanislav Potchekin and he initiates conducting studies under Juan Jose Olives Palenzuela.

He founds L'Orquestra de Cambra of the Vall d'en Bas, he directs the Summer festival of the Vall d'en Bas and he is President of Young Musicians Foundation of Saragossa , organizing, among  others, a cycle of concerts to commemorate the Centenary of the birth of the Master Eduardo del Pueyo.


Along his career he receives advices from great  pianists and pedagogues as diverse as  Oxana Yablonskaya,Lazar Berman, Alicia de Larrocha,Lev Naumov, Gery Mouttier ,  Dimitri Bashkirov, Brigite Engerer,Levente  Kende, Almudena Cano and Jose Luis Gonzalez Uriol.


He is  heir of the musical legacy of the eminent Spanish pianist Pilar Bayona thanks to the teaching  of Pilar Armijo and the long and affectionate conversations with Trinidad Castillo at the end of her life .


He has been always Interested  in the pedagogy of the Master Eduardo del Pueyo, he is present at courses, classes and seminars of relevant pupils of this one that they have followed lavishing his educations as,like  Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden Teresa Escudero, Patricia Montero, J.José Pérez Torrecillas, André de Groote, Burkard Spinnler, Claudine Orloff, and Evelyne Brancart.


From 2004 he  got a Piano teacher positon , serving in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de  Aragon and nowadays at the Professional Conservatoire of Tarazona.


He is Director of the International Courses Eduardo del Pueyo de Tarazona and Artistic director of the Cycle of Classic of Veruela's Monastery.
