Ido Zeev, born in Israel, December 1998 is an Israeli Pianist. Currently in his fourth year of studies at The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University where he studies with Prof. Arie Vardi and Mrs. Evgenia (Ganit) Polin. He is a graduate of the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts majoring in music and is a graduate of The Givatayim Conservatory - Mrs. Evgenia (Ganit) Polin’s class.
As a concert pianist, Ido performed in recitals in Switzerland – Allgemeine Musikgesellschaft, Basel; The Luzern Festival; "Casineum"; Marianischer Saal, Lucerne; and Festival “GIOVANINARTE” Riva San Vitale/Lugano, in England (The Oxford Music Festival), France, Germany, The Netherlands and more.
Ido Zeev has won first prizes in numerous competitions including the Pnina Salzman Piano Competition, The Young Artist Competition in Jerusalem, The Piano Forever Competition, The Chopin Competition in Tel-Aviv, Golden Diploma at the Tchaikovsky International Competition for Young Musicians in Russia and more.
Ido also appeared with different orchestras including The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Rishon Le'zion Orchestra, TYSO Orchestra, Ramat-Gan Chamber Orchestra and more.
He participated in Master Classes with Murray Perahia, Christoph Eschenbach, Menahem Pressler, Michel Beroff, Dimitry Bashkirov, Marios Papadopoulos, Boris Berman, Konstantin Lifschitz, Andreas Haefliger and Alexander Korsantia as part of the Aldwell Program for exceptional young pianists.
Among the scholarships Ido has received are: The Morningside Music Bridge Scholarship, Zefunot Culture Scholarship, The American Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship years 2012-2020, The Hava Stern excellence-scholarship, The Buchman-Heiman Foundation.
